Escape to the peace and tranquillity of the French countryside with our exclusive Anglers Lodge package, the perfect retreat for couples wanting to combine a relaxing holiday with a little fishing along the way.
Set beside the beautiful Old Castle Lake, the private lodge offers everything needed for a comfortable and memorable stay, including a cosy living room with sofa bed and TV, fully fitted kitchen with modern appliances, toilet and bathroom facilities, a comfortable double bedroom and an outdoor jacuzzi ideal for unwinding under the stars.
The package also includes exclusive use of Joe’s Swim, located directly in front of the lodge, allowing you to fish at your own pace whilst enjoying stunning lakeside views from your accommodation.
Whether you’re enjoying a morning coffee overlooking the water, soaking in the jacuzzi after a day outdoors or casting a line into the lake at sunset, this package offers the perfect blend of comfort, privacy and unforgettable fishing surroundings.
Optional Food Package
Guests staying at Old Castle Lake can enhance their trip with our optional Food Package, created to make your fishing holiday even more relaxing and hassle free. Rather than spending valuable fishing time shopping, cooking or cleaning up, anglers can enjoy freshly prepared breakfast each morning along with hearty homemade two-course evening meals.
Our Food Package is ideal for those wanting to fully switch off and enjoy their week in the French countryside, allowing you to concentrate on the fishing whilst we take care of the catering. It also means less packing and travelling lighter, with no need to fill the car or van with food supplies, and cooking equipment.
The complete package includes 7 breakfasts (Sunday to Staurday) and 7 evening meals (Saturday to Friday) for €175 per person.
Examples of evening meals include favourites such as: Curry, pizza, lasagne, spaghetti bolognese, BBQ and a Sunday Roast all served with sides.
Desserts may include: Sticky toffee pudding, apple crumble, chocolate cake or traditional french cheese board.

For anyone wishing to rent a baitboat, we have a Rippton Catch X Mini GPS Baitboat which can be rented for €50 per week.
