We were pleased to welcome our website designer Richard, along with his friends Matt and Rob down to the lake for a week.

Unfortunately, due to the warmer temperatures we’d had at the end of the previous week, the fish were getting into spawning mode at the lake and across the region, which coupled with the continually changing weather conditions meant the fishing was hard going.

Despite this, some fish were caught: Richard, who was fishing in 'The Barbecue' swim had 9 runs landing 6 carp including 4 lovely 30's to 38lb 8oz.

Rob fishing across from the house landed one of our smaller home reared carp, and unfortunately for Matt he had a hook pull from the only run he had just as he was packing up to leave.
